The Grand Mayan Resort is the flagship of Grupo Mayan / Grupo Vidanta. Resorts are located in Nuevo Vallarta, Acapulco, San Jose del Cabo and Riviera Maya in buildings that vary in size and stature.
Many members say the most intimate of the five is San Jose del Cabo. There is a debate among members as to the most beautiful. Some say the Riviera Maya is the most beautiful while others say the most beautiful is at Nuevo Vallarta. The largest is at Riviera Maya. Acapulco is beautiful and located on a beautiful stretch of beach.
Interestingly, buildings at these locations have been expanding. Riviera Maya recently completed its massive pool area. A new 9 story building opened in 2008 at Nuevo Vallarta.
